Komodo National Park is one famous Indonesia Nature Tourism Place which be located in East Nusa Tenggara Province. If we want to go there from BALI, the island is after Sumbawa Island and before Flores Island in Sape Strait.
In area 1.817 km2 of this park, There are 3 major island
(Komodo Island, Rinca Island, and Padar Island) with numerous smaller island around.

Komodo National Park is native habitat of endangered species, Komodo Dragon. A Giant Lizard which believed life since Dinosaurs age which can be found in this National Park. Because of the unique and rare nature of this animal, Komodo National Park was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1986. In 2009Komodo National Park is one of finalist New Seven Wonders of Nature in the World, and will published in the year through online voting.
Reportedly, now the species still left about 2500 species in this area and plus about 100 species life in Sanctuary Wildlife of Wae Wuul, Flores Island but it's outside Komodo National Park.
These Komodo are a Carnivorous Animal who are not active Predator. In the wild, they stalk a victim, usually a weak or injured one. One bite and that's what it usually takes. After following the victim for a while, sometimes up to several days' time, the komodos will devour the dying prey.
The habitat of Komodo has beautiful panoramic views of savanna,rain forests, white beaches, beautiful corals, and clean blue seas. In this area, you can also find horses, wild buffalo, deer, wild boar, snakes, monkeys, and various types of birds.
Komodo National Park also has an and amazing underwater sea biotica. Many of Divers claim that Komodo waters are one of the best diving sites in the world. It has fascinating underwater scenery. You can find 385 species of beautiful corals, mangrove forests, and seaweeds as a home for thousands of fish species, 70 types of sponges, 10 types of dolphins, 6 types of whales, green turtlesand various types of sharks and stingrays.
