This Is The Reason, Why Anal Sex it's Dangerous

Some couples enjoy anal sex (through the anus) as the variation in sexual intercourse. But anal sex really is not recommended because it is very dangerous.
Anal sex is sexual activity that involves inserting the penis into the anus. The anus is full of nerve endings, making it very sensitive. For some couples, the anus can be an erogenous zone that respond to sexual stimulation.
Anal sex has

a number of health risks. These health risks caused by anal sex, as quoted by WebMD, Tuesday (03/27/2012), among others:
  1.  Anus has no natural lubrication like those of the vagina. Penetration can tear the tissue inside the anus, which allows bacteria and viruses to enter the bloodstream. This can lead to the spread of sexually transmitted infections including HIV. The study shows that exposure to HIV in anal sex 30 times higher than vaginal intercourse vagina. Exposure to human papillomavirus (HPV) can also lead to the development of warts on the anus and rectum cancer. Using a lubricant can help, but not completely prevent tearing of the anus.
  2. Tissue in the anus are not protected like the outer skin of the anus. Outer surface of the anus has a layer of dead cells that serve as protection against infections. Tissue in the anus has no natural protection, which leaves it susceptible to tearing and the spread of infection.
  3. The anus is designed to remove fecal. The anus is surrounded by muscle called the anal sphincter, which tightens after we defecate. When muscles tight, anal penetration can be painful and difficult. Repeated anal sex can lead to a weakened anal sphincter, which could interfere with the process of defecation.
  4. The anus is full of bacteria. Even if both partners do not have a sexually transmitted infection or disease, the normal bacteria in the anus can potentially infect a partner. Vaginal sex after anal sex can also cause vaginal infections and urinary tract.
  5. Risk of hepatitis, herpes, HPV, and other infections. Although serious injury from anal sex is not common, but still can happen. Anal bleeding after sex can be caused by hemorrhoids, or something more serious such as perforation (hole) in the colon. This is a dangerous problem that requires immediate medical attention.

Some ways you can do to prevent health risks caused by anal sex, among others:
  • Avoid anal sex.
  • If you keep doing anal sex, it is important to use condoms to protect against the spread of infection and disease.

Here are tips to avoid the health risks of anal sex as quoted by WebMD, among others:
  1. Avoid inserting the penis into the mouth or vagina after anal sex.
  2. Using lots of lube.
  3. Relax before penetration.
  4. Warm water bath before having anal sex or stomach can make penetration easier.
  5. Stop if painful anal sex.
  6. If you have bleeding after anal sex or notice any sores or lumps around the anus or discharge, see your doctor as soon as possible.
